In 2020, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, we decided to hold the 4th Queer Olympix online. Our call was as follows:
Attention queers! The fourth Queer Olympix has arrived in your lap. In your home, in your room, on your balcony, on your kitchen counter, on your bed, on your couch… We are wherever you are with our online events on August 21-22-23! Last year, even though the Kadıköy District Governorate banned Queer Olympix claiming that it was a “threat to public health”, it could not prevent us from coming together! This year, we are not letting the global pandemic come between us, we are bringing Queer Olympix to our screens to protect “public health”. Are you ready for an online experience where sweat will flow on the screen… Remote passes and moving moments will be experienced? We can’t wait to say “Another Olympics is possible!” together once again. See you on August 21-22-23!
